Want to bring joy to worship, but you don't sing?
Handbells was a staple in St. James worship services before Covid-19 and now is the time to bring this wonderful music back!
Handbells gives adults and youth alike the opportunity to play fun music with their friends or people they do not know, learn new skills, and serve in worship.
Handbells serve as a useful tool for teaching music theory and teamwork, artistic expression, community building, and therapeutic uses.
If you think you may be interested in learning handbells and you are sixth grade through adulthood, please come check us out!
Any musical experience such as sight-reading and performing is greatly appreciated but not required! Lessons will be provided if needed.
