There shall be a charge conference for each church or charge with such powers, duties, and privileges as are hereinafter set forth.

Each fall, the leaders of each United Methodist congregation are called together by the District Superintendent in order to consider the life and ministry of that congregation. This meeting is termed a "Charge Conference" in order to reflect the duty placed on each congregation to represent the whole of our United Methodist connections. We believe that each congregation is part of the larger whole that lives into our shared vision to “make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world.”
