In Stitches Quilt Show & Sale

On Sunday, October 27, St. James In Stitches Quilters will have a Quilt Show and Sale honoring Betty Fuqua. A founding member of In Stitches, Betty died unexpectedly in December, 2023. Betty's enthusiasm and bright personality is reflected in the numerous quilting projects that she left behind, and which her family generously offered to the members of In Stitches. The group decided to complete as many of Betty's projects as we could in her honor.

Members of In Stitches invite everyone to come and see the colorful quilts, wall hangings, table toppers, aprons, baby bibs, and other items that Betty had planned to make, which she frequently gave to family and friends. There are dozens of projects from Betty's stash, many of which were collected in project boxes with a pattern, the fabrics chosen by Betty, sometimes with Betty's notes, and even sometimes partially begun.
