Staff Updates

The Staff-Parish Relations Committee would like to share that our daytime custodian, Erwin Dunn, has announced his intention to retire at the end of this year. Erwin has faithfully served St. James since being hired in 2004. We have all been blessed by his warm smile, strong faith, and willingness to drop whatever he is doing to help anyone who asks. He will be surely missed. But as Erwin has said, he may be retiring from the job, but he is not retiring from the church! He still plans to be active in the Kairos ministry, the Community Bible Study, and his small group that meets on Friday mornings. Erwin’s last day at St. James will be Christmas Eve, December 24th. We wish Erwin the best in his retirement. A reception is being planned in early January.

If you would like to contribute to a love offering for Erwin, please bring it to the church before Thursday, January 2nd. (Note that your donation is a gift to the Dunns, not a gift to the church. Therefore the donation will not be tax deductible.)
