During the fall and winter months, we meet at 7:00 pm on Sunday evenings in the Chapel for a time of prayer and meditation. It is a quiet, reflective time in the style of the Taize' or Iona communities.

This year at the Sunday Evening Prayer service, Pastor Dennis Adams will be presenting:

"Did He Mean What He Said?"
Meditations on the Difficult Sayings of Jesus

Did Jesus mean what he said? Was Jesus talking to me or was he speaking to antiquated customs and beliefs of a bygone culture? Can I write off what he said as hyperbole to make a point? Can I rationalize some way to be a good disciple and ignore these sayings? What do I do with these sayings? How do they affect the way I live and where do they fit in my culture?
