through music with the talents that God has given us.
By participating in the music ministry program at St. James Church,
you may experience both the joy of music and service as you so cultivate
your God-given talents.
Music for Preschoolers:
Cherub Choir: ages 3 & 4
A musical discovery learning group.
meets Wednesdays 6:00-6:30pm during TGIW.

Merry Music Makers: grades K-1
An enriching music making experience of singing, instrument playing and musical games.
This choir will be performing a children's Christmas Pageant and participating in the Living Nativity during Advent. Meets Sundays 5:00-5:40pm in the Choir Room.
Merry Music Makers begins this fall on September 13th.

Music for Elementary:
Chapel Choir: grades 2-5
The goal of this choir is for children to see the integral part that music and the other arts play in worship. These children will sing in worship throughout the year and will be performing a children's Christmas Pageant and participating in the Living Nativity during Advent.
Meets Sundays – 6:10-6:50 p.m.
in the choir room.

Music for Youth:
Youth Choir: grades 6-12
You do not need to be able to read music, just have a heart for singing. All youth are welcome.
meets Sundays – 6:00-7:00 p.m. in the CLMC, room 106.
Youth Choir begins this fall on September 13th.

Music for Youth and Adults:
Chancel Choir
leads in worship each Sunday at the 11:00 service and for other scheduled worship services.
Additionally, this choir for experienced youth and adult singers will present a living nativity during Advent and a major work with orchestra during Lent.
Rehearses are Wednesdays – 7:30-9:00 p.m.
in the choir room.

Asbury Choir:
Leads worship in the 8:45 a.m. worship service each Sunday.
Open to all who love to sing.
Rehearsal are each Sunday, 8:15-8:40am in the Choir Room.

Fellowship Singing:
Each Sunday morning from 9:40-9:55 a.m. in the Choir Room.
For those who like to sing old favorites from the Cokesbury Hymnal.

This group of vocalists and instrumentalists lead contemporary styled music the 9:00 and 11:11 ConneXion services each Sunday
Rehearsals are Wednesdays from 6:30 - 9:30 p.m.

Handbell Choirs:
Chapel Chimes: beginners and intermediate ringers grades 2-5
This group feeds into the Wesley Ringers.
Charles Wesley Ringers: grades 3-9
children and youth who have played with the Chapel Chimes or those who have hand bell experience.
Both meet Sundays from 5:30-6:00 p.m.
St. James Ringers: youth and adult ringers to play in various services throughout the year. Starts this fall on August 27th.
Meets Wednesdays from 6:30-7:15 p.m.

Circuit Rider Bells: bell quartet for advanced ringers - by audition only. Starts this fall on August 27th.
Meets Wednesdays from 5:15-6:15 p.m.
