BACKPACK PALS
BackPack Pals in Immediate Need of Food Donations
UMW Circle #3 is excited to announce that we are in the final stages of kicking off the BackPack Pals program with Eastern Elementary. We currently serve 54 children at Wahl-Coates and will be adding another 25 Eastern Elementary children to the list of those we feed each weekend very soon. With your support and donation of the following individually packaged items, we will continue to provide these children with much needed food to supplement the inadequate nutrition they receive when not in school.
Individual servings of these items are needed:
Proteins: Vienna sausages, Beenie Weenies, Chef Boyardee
Fruit: Apple sauce, fruit cups
Snacks: Pudding cups, gelatin cups, granola bars, chips, animal crackers, etc.
Drinks: Juice boxes, Capri Suns
Breakfast: Cereal bars, Pop Tarts
